From 5th to 7th November 2025, the Faculty of Education at East China Normal University and the Faculty of Education and Human Development at The Education University of Hong Kong will once again join forces to deliver the Fourth Asian Education Doctoral Student Institute (AEDSI), designed specifically for doctoral students in the field of education.

Since 2022, doctoral students from both institutions have worked together to pioneer innovative approaches, exploring diverse pathways for growth through ongoing knowledge exchange and cross-disciplinary collaboration. This annual gathering has benefited doctoral students from over 86 universities across more than 20 countries and regions. The torch has been passed, and the journey continues.

The Fourth AEDSI will be held at East China Normal University (Putuo Campus). Building upon the resources and networks of two leading educational institutions in Shanghai and Hong Kong, and grounded in the developmental needs of doctoral students with an Asian perspective and global outlook, the event will bring together distinguished scholars, international education peers, and outstanding doctoral alumni to advance the career development of doctoral students in the field of education worldwide!
